Re: Introduce yourself
Adrian: unfortunately we have no time to participate that meeting in Centre Parc. But Tour de Lux is fixed. It will surely be funny, to meet some other guys from England. I´m eager to see, what modifications you will have realized on your TF. Probably we will join the Highlandgames, this year also happening in Lux. But i have to check first, if i´m needed at work.

Re: Introduce yourself
Hi Jurgen, we'll be there on the Friday afternoon as we missed out on Lux Old Town last year, then on to the Hotel de la Poste again for a beer or two on the balcony . Don't be surprised if you find a standard (almost) 80LE. I have always said I would not change the appearance of an LE as it misses the point of having something special. I kept two things back from the old F, the boot lid trims as they are chromed and the TF is silver sprayed plastic and the plate over the engine ecu as it has my three Octagon Tour finishers plaques stuck on it. I replaced them on the F before it went to it's new owner. All I have replaced on the TF is the exhaust, it now has a Daytona box with a Piper 4-2-1 manifold. The air feed has been relocated away from the heat of the engine bay, anything other than that may be seen as being different so that's about it . I am event trying to get made a set of original number plates from the MG dealer who had it for 9 months as their demonstrator. What have you been up to since last year ?

Re: Introduce yourself
Adrian: I´m never surprised! I only would have been surprised, if you hadn´t changed something on your TF! The changes on my small "F" were not so many: I installed a 4-2-1-Manifold and a Sports Cat. This makes a nice sound in combination with my Take-4-Exhaust from BN-Pipes. Next step was a 56 mm Rover-Throttlebody. I think it was worth the work... After winterbreak the next little project will be relocating the airfeed, the needed parts are stored in the trunk since the end of season, so i can start directly after the relaunch-procedure on the 1st of March. In the same step i´ll install my homemade Compliance-Washers, in the hope, that the handling will be improven. This is enough for the first time, because i won´t miss driving my little diva. And on the other side: I like the design of my "F" as it is, including the original VVC-Wheels! Bruno: Welcome on board! Nice colour, nice cars! And i assume the Volvo convertible in the background is your wintercar? A very good decision!

Re: Introduce yourself
Jurgen, compliance washers will improve the handling, home made eh ! interesting. Hi Lars, nice to hear from you again, it 's so nice meeting old friends here isn't it ? I'm bringing friends from the UK this year too, another three cars, they are on the participants list already. Get the chairs ready on the terrace, Marie-Therése will be there with the beers in a flash I think Bruno's Volvo serves a number of purposes, Inge can use it and it has a seat for baby Kato His F is quite a car, believe me, it's immaculate and it is also one of the quickest you will see (and hear) it's running 180bhp. Bruno, are you coming to the TdL in your car or Bruce's ?

Re: Introduce yourself
How do you find your way to a German beer portal for N. America, Americans know as much about good beer as I know about waxing But 15.7% is indeed strong beer can you buy it in Germany, if so, can I have one to try ? Do you drink it or cut it with a knife and fork ? I was drinking Leffe triple at Houten, nice at 8.8, I have some Grimbergen 9.5 at home, I'm saving that for a special occasion, but that is exceptional beer, I must try it (does anybody want to share it ?) While talking of beer, I have some special beer from the Morland Brewery, who make Old Speckled Hen. It's a special called Old Crafty Hen, it's the same octagonal label but with a black badge and stronger at 6.5% Sorry but that's the best they could do I guess.

adrian clifford hat geschrieben: But 15.7% is indeed strong beer can you buy it in Germany, if so, can I have one to try ? Ahh, that's a term I am qualified for Adrian, in case you visit Munich at any time. Leave out the Hofbrauhaus, that's for Japs only. There's a bavarian style (what else) restaurant in the city, near the famous Hofbrauhaus. It's name is the same as the beer maker itself Weisses Bräuhaus the address is Im Tal 2Take the underground, Line U3 or U6, Stop Marienplatz, exit Marienplatz. http://www.weisses-brauhaus.de/speziali ... 15&lang=deAt first try two or three whitbeer, typical dark or light, followed by a typical mass beer (1 Litre), or two of And then order an Aventinus, served as 0,5l in a whitbeer glass. (shown as third glass seen from the RH) But before you drink, give Dawn a final kiss, cause after half of the glass you woun't be any more able to see her for some hours Shop http://www.beerangel.com/product_info.p ... 790f098443

Hi Adrian, I think we are coming with my car, but if Bruce likes to go with the silver MGf, thats also good for me. Herbie hat geschrieben: I think it's the first time I see the Volvo, looks good ! Any news yet ? Nope, still no news Herbie. The problem with the engine isn't solved yet To be honest, the Volvo isn't used anymore, because of Inge has a Company car, and I also have one, but I can't sell it, I love also this car a lot. It's like Adrian tells, Baby Kato has now a seat, she hasn't in the F.

Re: Introduce yourself
Ok Lars, that's cool. I will bring you an Old Crafty Hen in exchange. Dieter, if I am to try such a beer you had better find Dawn something tasty as she will not want to be left out, you know her well Better not make it as strong though By the way, I have a bottle of Old Crafty Hen for you, Claude, Pascal, Erik and Bruno when we next meet (when will that be ?). Hmm ! I think I had better bring a case of them.

When we leave you on the Suday evening we travel to Sweden for their national event the following weekend as you know, so there will not be too much room as luggage (clothes) may take priority . She was saying last night, she 's so looking forward to meeting Dani again, it's been a long time.
