I really hope the new owner knows what a treasure this car is. Would be very sad if it is sold to someone who don´t give a sh** and bought it just for "as long as it lasts.". Hopefully he will take care of that.

I don´t get it. If he is going to do such a conversion, why would he use the "old" engine from GW?! There are plenty of miles on it and I would be very surprised if it is impossible to find another K20A-engine with less milage.

Nope ... Honda V-tec from GW 2 MG TF K-Engine from MG TF 2 GW. Anyway, I think *Figo* may have bought GW for quite near to 4 grand, which is a bargain. No estimations from my side about probable final results. I'll never get the english ..

It would be hard to match GoldenWheels. The car was very well setup and drove like a dream. The other engine was just a part of the whole concept. Putting the engine in the TF can only be 'an easy start' of a long a difficult way of setting up the car ... if the owner wants the same effect as GoldenWheels. |
